Plans for the Future

The school's resources are under regular review to identify those areas where investment will be of greatest benefit to the girls' education.

Future plans include

- the second stage of development at the Music School
- improvement of the boarding accommodation for Years III and IV
- installation of the final links to give wireless connection for laptops throughout the campus
- additional online learning resources
- a supplementary library resource centre
- the addition of two new hard courts for tennis and netball

Almost seventy percent of funding for past projects came from the school's own resources and prudent borrowing, with the balance through the generosity of Old Margaretians, parents, staff and other friends of the school. For some major projects a specific appeal has been launched, as was the case with the Centenary Building when just over £1 million of the £3.8 million required was raised through donations.
