The PFA
The PFA is an independent body whose
principal role is to provide a channel of communication between the
parents and the school. Its members are the parents or guardians of
girls currently at Queen Margaret's together with representatives
from the Old Margaretians and others well disposed towards the school.
Through the PFA Year Representatives, parents
may raise any issue be it academic, pastoral, sports related or extra-curricular
for consideration by the school.
The Association also plays an important role by calling on the wide
and varied resources of the parents in support of the schools objectives.
Initiatives have included the provision of guest lectures, work based
opportunities for girls and support for a range of educational, cultural
and social events.
Committee members can be contacted
at any time to communicate your issues and ideas to the school - please
